What is sheet metal/welding processing
Using thin metal sheets (cold-rolled sheets, stainless steel sheets, aluminum sheets, etc.), through cutting, bending, punching, and stretching to form shells and brackets; The shape is formed by bending the board, not by melting and pouring.

Weld defects such as undercut, lack of fusion, or porosity appear in the weld seam.
Undercut is usually caused by excessive welding current, too slow travel speed, or too long an arc, and should be addressed by adjusting to reasonable parameters and shortening the arc length. Lack of fusion is mostly related to insufficient current, too fast welding speed, or unclean groove preparation, requiring increased heat input and thorough removal of oil, dirt, and oxides from the groove. Porosity requires checking whether the shielding gas flow rate is appropriate, whether the welding consumables are damp, and controlling the filling of the crater at arc extinction.
When bending long workpieces, the angles at the two ends are inconsistent (one end larger, one end smaller).
Common causes include uneven material thickness, uneven wear of the upper die, or imbalance of the middle block of the lower die. The troubleshooting sequence should be: first confirm whether the incoming material thickness tolerance is within the allowable range; check whether the V-groove or cutting edge of the upper die is worn unevenly; and adjust the levelness of the middle block of the lower die to ensure symmetrical force on the sheet during bending.
During sheet metal bending, the bend area or holes of the workpiece deform.
Bending deformation is mostly caused by excessive bending speed, interference with the back gauge positioning, or holes being too close to the bend line. The bending speed should be reduced, and manual support should be synchronized with bending. For holes too close to the bend line, a score line can be pressed at the bend line first or laser cutting lines can be used to release stress, preventing the holes from being stretched and deformed.
